At Adirondack Emergency Training Academy, LLC., we are dedicated to providing high-quality CPR, First Aid and EMS Training. Our training courses are designed to meet the needs of individuals and organizations. We offer both in-person and online training options to make it easy for you to learn at your own pace. The AHA’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.

AHA BLS Provider Course

The Heartsaver CPR AED course trains participants to give CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

AHA HeartSaver CPR/AED Course

The AHA First Aid course trains participants first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills.

AHA First Aid Course

During an AHA skills verification, an AHA instructor will observe skills practice and testing. The verification process ensures the identity and achievement of you, the student.

AHA Skills Verification

The AHA Heartsaver Pediatric course trains participants how to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.

AHA HeartSaver Pediatric Course

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) builds on the foundation of Basic Life Support (BLS), emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR.

AHA ACLS Provider Course

This course reinforces the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics.

AHA PALS Provider Course

The goal of the PEARS Provider Course is to improve outcomes for pediatric patients by preparing healthcare providers in assessment, early recognition, prompt communication, and initial intervention in patients with respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest.

The AETA Learning Management System

The AETA EMS Learning Management System (LMS) is an online archive of EMS Education. EMS Providers are able to login and earn CME Credit.

CME & Core Content Offerings

The Adirondack Emergency Training Academy has NYS Bureau of EMS Certified Instructor Coordinators and Certified Lab Instructors on staff. These personnel can teach Continuing Medical Education topics, review CFR and EMT Recertification, as well as provide Core Content Courses.

In this course, the AETA will provide 16 hours of Core Content Hours in a one weekend setting. This can be done at your agency or virtually. The agency will have an option to choose which topics are to be covered during the 16-hour course, or it can be left to the instructor's discretion.

Modified Core Content

In NYS, it is often the choice of EMS Agencies to contract with a Certified Instructor Coordinator to oversee their agency education and CQI programs. The AETA currently facilitates 1 year and 3 year contracts to provide these services at a low and reasonable cost to many agencies throughout the North Country.
