Refund Policy - Effective June 1, 2024

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days upon approval of refund request.

Refunds are issued after 30 days from the approved request and will be via Mailed Check.

If a course is rescheduled by its instructor(s) or AETA, LLC, refunds are not accepted until a rescheduled date is set.

AHA Course Refund Policy

If you have taken the course, a refund will not be issued.

If you cancel within 30 days of the course, only a 50% refund will be issued.

If you cancel within 10 days of the course, only a 25% refund will be issued.

Once the course has begun or you have rescheduled, no refunds will be given.

No Call, No Show does not qualify a refund of any kind.

CME Review/Recertification Refund Policy

If a CIC on staff has reviewed paperwork and/or submitted it to the state for review, a refund will not be issued. 

AETA or its CIC's are not responsible or liable if paperwork is denied by NYS DOH for any reason.

Core Content/EMS Course Refund Policy

If you have taken the course, a refund will not be issued.

Core Content/EMS Courses may be cancelled within 30 days of the course start date.

If an agency cancels within 30 days of the course, only a 50% refund will be issued.

If an agency cancels within 10 days of the course, only a 25% refund will be issued.

Once the course has begun, or it has been rescheduled, no refunds will be given.

 

Course Manual

If you would like to purchase a course manual from our office, please call (518) 558-4493 to reserve your copy. Supplies are limited; so all students must call to reserve a manual.

Discount to Military, Law Enforcement, Fire and EMS:


To show our appreciation and support, active US military personnel are entitled to class discounts. There will be a 5% discount. This discount is automatically applied. We are grateful for what you’re doing for our country. 

No-Show Policy:


Any student who does not contact us to cancel their course or does not show up for the course will forfeit all fees paid. Please contact us if you have any questions at all regarding this policy.

Expired Card Protocol:

 

It is recommended that any student with an expired card take the full provider course. However, you do have the option of taking the renewal course under the provisions set forth by the American Heart Association’s Expired Card Protocol if your card is expired less than 6 months. The provisions are as follows:

• You are responsible for the full provider fees
• You must present your expired card at the time of class
• You must complete all written and skills test with a passing grade on your first attempt. Remediation is not an option. If you do not pass the testing on the first try, you will be required to take the full provider course at an additional fee.
